Why the report exists
A CRT listing without geometry notes, inputs and the actual inspection photos is just a pretty picture of a different television. Every Nick Nitro set gets its own Service ID.
Searchable models
Sony sets are listed as Trinitron plus the KV model so buyers can actually find them.
Price in the table
Asking price sits next to size and sale status. Green is for sale. Red is not. Grey is sold and stays searchable for the owner.
What Category 1, 2 and 3 mean
The category is on the report. It tells you how far the work went — not a marketing grade.

Every set we sell
Internal inspection and clean, picture and audio across the inputs, geometry and convergence documented, degauss cycle, written condition report and the photos from that inspection.
CATEGORY 2 & 3
Repair work
Applied when a technician actually corrects something — capacitors, inputs, convergence, geometry, failed parts. The extra warranty covers that work only.
AS-IS / PROJECT
Sold with the faults listed
If a set is a project it is marked that way, with the remaining work written on the page. Read it before you book a trailer.
How buying one works
Pickup in Renown Park. Message first so the set is still green when you arrive.
Open the live table
Use Available now. Check For Sale is green, then open the Service ID and read the report and photos.
Message to hold it
Facebook or a call. Stock moves. Green today can be red tomorrow.
Pick up in Adelaide
Renown Park. Bring help for the 29″ — these are not flat-pack TVs. Australia-wide freight can be quoted if needed.
All CRTs carry a 14 day money back if the set is not as described. Category 2 or 3 work also carries a 30 day warranty on that specific work. Vintage electronics otherwise carry no general hardware warranty. Breaking the void seal ends cover. Full warranty page.
Common questions
Where is the live stock list?
On the public CRT Service Reports table in Notion. This page is the shopfront. Notion is the inventory.
How do I look up a TV I already bought?
Your Service ID is on the receipt and on the sticker inside the set. Search it on the All reports tab. If you cannot find it, message Facebook with your name and pickup date.
Do you ship CRTs?
Pickup in Renown Park is the default. Freight inside Australia can be quoted. These sets are heavy and fragile — we will be honest if a set should not travel.
Is this the same Nick Nitro as disc resurfacing?
Yes. Same business, same ABN. Disc work lives at disc.nicknitro.com.au. The main site is nicknitro.com.au.
Can I open the back myself?
No. CRTs hold a high-voltage charge after unplugging. The void seal and water-sensitive internal label exist for a reason.
